Ante Up: Cybersecurity Learning for Everyone in Business
You do not have to work in IT to play a part in cybersecurity. Ante Up is a live monthly class that helps people recognize common threats, practice safer habits, and keep learning as technology and criminal tactics change.
From the janitor to the CEO, every person in a business matters.

What Is Ante Up?
Ante Up is a live, introductory cybersecurity class offered monthly by Infosec Check. It teaches practical security awareness in plain language for business owners, employees, contractors, support personnel, and organizational leaders. One person may join for $19 per month. A small business may enroll up to five people for $49 per month.
Each class is education. There are no tests, employee scorecards, completion reports, or compliance certificates.
Every role
Cybersecurity Is a Business Skill
Security is not limited to the IT department. A receptionist may receive a deceptive call. A bookkeeper may receive altered payment instructions. A salesperson may scan a false QR code. A janitor may enter rooms that few people question. An owner or CEO may receive an urgent request that appears legitimate.
Ante Up helps people recognize warning signs, slow down when something feels wrong, verify unexpected requests, and report concerns promptly.
Different roles have different access. Every role can make a safer decision.
Curriculum
Practical Lessons That Keep Moving
Topics rotate and develop over time so participants can continue learning. Classes may address:
- Passwords, passphrases, multifactor authentication, and account recovery
- Phishing, false login pages, attachments, QR codes, and altered invoices
- Social engineering through urgency, authority, fear, curiosity, and helpfulness
- Email, text-message, telephone, and payment-request scams
- Personal information, customer records, credentials, and business information
- Device updates, screen locks, applications, browser extensions, and removable media
- Visitors, doors, keys, badges, printers, paperwork, and unattended computers
- How to stop, verify, preserve useful information, and report a concern
Ante Up is the starting point, not the finish line.

If the $19 individual price is genuinely beyond your reach, you may request a grant. A grant is not guaranteed, but cost should not prevent someone who wants to learn from asking.
Education Without Employee Surveillance
Ante Up is designed for learning. Infosec Check does not grade participants, create employee scorecards, send completion reports to employers, or issue compliance certificates through this program.
Infosec Check uses the information reasonably needed to process subscriptions, provide class access, communicate with participants, respond to grant requests, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Stripe and any class-delivery platform operate under their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.
Ante Up provides general education. Participation alone does not satisfy a law, regulation, contract, insurance requirement, or cybersecurity framework, and it does not guarantee that an incident will be prevented.
