Accessibility Statement
MainBoard, LLC dba Infosec Check is committed to keeping Infosec Check usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology.
Last reviewed: September 13, 2026
1. Our commitment
This website is designed and maintained to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Those guidelines are the technical standard commonly referenced in the United States in connection with the Americans with Disabilities Act and with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing obligation, reviewed as pages are added or revised.
2. Measures we take
- Semantic page structure with a single main heading, sequential heading levels, and named landmark regions on every page.
- A "Skip to main content" link as the first focusable element on every page.
- Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive control and no keyboard traps.
- Form fields with programmatically associated labels, required-state information, and errors that are announced to assistive technology and shown in text rather than color alone.
- Descriptive alternative text on images that convey information, and empty alternative text on decorative images.
- Text and interface contrast checked against the 4.5 to 1 and 3 to 1 thresholds.
- Status messages, including form success and failure, placed in live regions so they are announced without a page reload.
- Motion and animation that respect the operating system reduced-motion preference.
- Layouts that remain readable and functional at 200 percent browser zoom and at small screen widths.
- Native HTML controls, including native disclosure elements for question and answer sections, preferred over custom widgets.
3. Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard, while some content may not yet fully conform. We state this plainly rather than claiming complete conformance, because parts of the experience depend on services we do not control.
4. Known limitations
- Payment and subscription checkout pages are hosted and rendered by our third-party payment processor. Their accessibility is determined by that provider.
- Consultation scheduling is handled on a third-party scheduling platform, also outside our control. If scheduling online is difficult for any reason, call us and we will book the time for you.
- Downloadable documents published before this statement may not yet be fully tagged for screen reader navigation. We will provide an accessible version of any document on request.
5. Feedback and assistance
If you encounter a barrier on this site, or need any content in an alternate format such as large print, plain text, or a read-aloud walkthrough by phone, contact us and we will help directly.

We aim to respond to accessibility requests within five business days. Please include the page address and a description of the difficulty so we can reproduce it.
6. Assessment approach
Accessibility is evaluated through a combination of automated testing against the WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria, keyboard-only review of interactive flows, and manual review of headings, labels, alternative text, and contrast values. Findings are corrected as part of ongoing site maintenance. This statement is issued by MainBoard, LLC dba Infosec Check.
